Uxía García Luis
Graduate in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Vigo, and currently studying Master in Aeronautical Engineering at University Carlos III of Madrid. Her previous investigations have been focused on the improvement of the aeronautical composite part curing process by analysing the autoclave performance. She carried out this study with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) by using numerical techniques based on finite volumes. She also collaborated on the development of the UVigo Motorsport Formula Student car aerodynamics. Now she is implied in WiPTherm to increase her research experience working on the mechanical design, CAD modelling and thermal analysis of CubeSat platforms.
In addition, Uxía García is doing a doctorate in ‘Study of the pointing platform for optical communications embarked on satellites’, included in the PhD program in Aerospace Technology at the University of Vigo.
