PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad de Vigo. Responsible for space activities at the University of Vigo and CINAE, and coordinator of projects such as Xatcobeo, HUMSAT or LUME-1, as well as the ‘Fly your Satellite’ initiative promoted by ESA. Member of the International Astronautical Academy (IAA). He is currently full professor at the University of Vigo, and adjunct professor at NTNU (Norway) supporting the Small Satellite Programme since 2020.

Doctor en Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones por la Universidad de Vigo. Responsable de las actividades espaciales en la Universidad de Vigo y CINAE, y coordinador de los proyectos como Xatcobeo, HUMSAT o LUME-1, así como la iniciativa ‘Fly your Satellite’ promovida por la ESA. Miembro de la Academia Astronáutica Internacional (IAA). Actualmente es profesor titular en la Universidad de Vigo, y profesor adjunto en NTNU (Noruega) apoyando el programa Small Satellite Programme desde 2020.

Graduated in Telecommunications Engineering and currently studying a Master in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Vigo. He has participated in the ESA’s ITT Sysnova Lunar Caves Studies of ESA. He is currently participating in the WiPTherm project, as well as in the UVigo SpaceLab student team as lead systems engineer of the BIXO Mission.

Graduado en Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones y actualmente cursando el Máster de Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones por la Universidad de Vigo. Ha participado en el ITT Sysnova Lunar Caves Studies de la ESA. Actualmente participa en el proyecto H2020 WiPTherm, así como en el equipo de estudiantes UVigo SpaceLab como ingeniero de sistemas.

Graduated in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Vigo and currently studying a Master in Aeronautical Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Uxía has participated in a project for the optimization of composite materials manufacturing in the aeronautical industry. She is currently involved in the H2020 WiPTherm project and doing her thesis on the thermoelastic study of space telescopes.

Graduada en Ingeniería de Aeroespacial en la Universidad de Vigo y actualmente cursando el Máster de Ingeniería Aeronáutica por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Uxía ha participado en un proyecto para la optimización de la fabricación de materiales compuestos de la industria aeronáutica. Actualmente está implicada en el proyecto WiPTherm, y realiza su tesis en el estudio termoelástico de telescopios espaciales.

Dr. Orgeira es actualmente profesor de la Escuela de Ingeniería Aeroespacial en la Universidad de Vigo, en el Área Aeroespacial.

Dr Orgeira is currently visiting professor at the University of Vigo, in the Aerospace Area.
